The Drashti Power Consultants is a Partnership Firm ( Under formation of Private Limited Company soon) of Mr. K K Bhatia and Mr. P R Mehta, who have worked for more than 35 years in different areas in Power sector in different capacities and recently retired as Chief Engineers.
Mr. KK Bhatia graduated in Electrical Engineering from LD College of Engineering; Gujarat University; Ahmedabad in 1970 and since then worked in erstwhile Gujarat State Electricity Board in Transmission Dept. in various Capacities including as Chief Engineer (Transmission) till he retired in Feb’06.
He carries with him a rich experience of all aspects of Power Transmission & Operations, through his 36 years of association with M/s GEB/GETCO (Erstwhile M/s Gujarat Electricity Board) and contributed to E.H.V. Sub-stations maintenance and Line maintenance of major 220 KV System. Monitoring of various activities for maintenance of Sub-stations & Lines of entire GEB up to 400 KV, steering ongoing reform activities, managing State Load Dispatch Centre etc.
